PMP Certification Process
- You need submit your PMP Application - once you start your application, you need to complete it (submit it) in 90 days
- Once the application is submitted, it will be reviewed within 5 working days
- After the application is reviewed, it may be selected for audit - Note: Audit selection is a random process , ~ 5-10% of applications are selected for audit
- If your application is selected for audit, you need send the evidences as requested (Most probably: Your PMP course attendance certificate and professional experience) - You have 90 days to send the evidences , PMI will take 5-7 days reviewing these audit evidences // Based on PMI the audit evidences should be sent by regular postal mail or express courier service - but in rare case they may accept soft copies by email (need to contact them 1st)
- If your application was not selected for audit, or passed the audit process - you have 1 year to submit payment (exam fees)
- Once you make payment, you can schedule your exam with 1 year from the date of your application approval - note: you can take the exam 3 times within a year from your application approval date (reexamination fees will apply but you don't need a new application)
